Monitoring and Caching OpenAI Requests with Cloudflare AI Gateway
Last week, AWS released a new GenAI service called as PartyRock, to build AI applications with zero coding. Under the hood, it is powered by AWS’ own Bedrock, a fully managed service that offers API service for a lot of foundation models built by AWS and other companies.
Building AI Apps
To get started, just visit partyrock.aws and signup with your email address. Once you’re done with that, you’ll head to the dashboard.
You can either click on Build your own app or head to My Apps to create your own application. You can build anything that utilizes AI. There are a lot of examples such as an app that just tells dad jokes, one that writes poems and generates images based on the phrase provided etc.
Here, we will create a Game Recommender application.
Once you click on Build your own app, you can either describe what you want or start everything from scratch. I have described what my application has to do and have asked PartyRock to generate my app.
After a while, the app is generated.
Now, let us ask a question:
That’s a great answer! Now let us ask something descriptive:
That’s an amazing answer too! Before we go any further, let’s expand Recommended Games
As you can see, there are a few things that can be changed to get the exact answer that you want. You can edit the prompt, change the Temperature and Top P, and more interestingly, choose different models. As of now, PartyRock offers 5 models:
I expect that more language models like these will be added in the future.
Now, let’s add a chatbot to this application. Click on Add Widget, and then select Chatbot:
Before proceeding further, make sure you change the prompt to what you expect the chatbot to do:
After changing the prompt and a bit of rearranging, the app looks great with the chatbot working quite nicely!
Publishing the App
Another amazing thing about PartyRock is that you can make your application public and share it with others. There are also other options such as creating your own copy of an app, taking the current snapshot of the app to share it with others along with making it public.
After making the app public, you can share it with others. You can try my GameGenie and create your own remix!
So, what next?
The app right now is already impressive since it required zero coding to build all this. But still, this is just the beginning for PartyRock. There will be even more impressive things added in the future. If you liked my blog, or have any feedback, reach out to my Twitter/X or LinkedIn!
